Profile

Andres received his B.S. in Electronics Engineer from the Universidad Interamericana de Costa Rica. Later on, he enrolled the Space Robotics Laboratory at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan and obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering in 2006 and 2009 respectively.

He has being part of the the Advanced Space Propulsion Laboratory (ASPL), at Johnson Space Center, NASA the Angstrom Aerospace Corporation Microtec (AAC Microtec) and the In-Situ Instruments Laboratory at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), NASA.

He is currently working on the teleoperation and enhancement of multiple social mobile robots at the Advance Telecommunications Research Institute International in Kyoto, Japan.
