Network robot systems integrated with environments is the promising frontier of Robotics not only to realize human robot symbiosis system but also to know the human behavior. The workshop covers networked environing sensing/actuation, special intelligence and control of distributed environing system, including consistent interaction between human and multi components of the environment. In this workshop, we also discuss research directions encouraged by Japanese ministry of public management, home affairs, posts and telecommunications.

Paper Submission

The workshop will consist of several invited talks and paper presentations. Interested authors are welcome to submit their contributions. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

Papers should be prepared according to the IROS2006 final camera ready format, and should be 4 to 8 pages long. The detailed information on the paper format is available from the IROS 2006 page. Submissions should be sent to in the Portable Document Format (PDF) no later than August 1.
